Steve Russell

As a founder of his previous​ ​company,​ ​Steve​ Russell ​was​ ​charged​ ​with​ ​many​ ​different​ ​roles​ ​and responsibilities​ ​over​ ​the​ ​past​ ​two​ ​decades.​ ​My​ ​favorite​ ​part​ ​of​ ​being​ ​involved​ ​in​ ​this company​ ​is​ ​the​ ​experience​ ​of​ ​working​ ​with​ ​a​ ​dynamic​ ​and​ ​creative​ ​team​ ​to​ ​shape​ ​and build​ ​a​ ​product​ ​with​ ​tremendous​ ​value​ ​for​ ​our​ ​customers.​ ​He​ ​explains,​ ​”I​ ​enjoy​ ​the process​ ​of​ ​discovering​ ​what​ ​our​ ​customers​ ​are​ ​really​ ​looking​ ​for​ ​in​ ​a​ ​product​ ​and​ ​then working​ ​with​ ​our​ ​team​ ​to​ ​deliver​ ​a​ ​great,​ ​quality​ ​solution​ ​to​ ​meet​ ​those​ ​needs.​ ​There’s great​ ​satisfaction​ ​in​ ​observing​ ​the​ ​children​ ​that​ ​are​ ​using​ ​AWE’s​ ​products.​ ​They​ ​are engaged,​ ​excited​ ​and​ ​learning​ ​valuable​ ​skills​ ​with​ ​what​ ​we’ve​ ​provided​ ​to​ ​them.” Thus,​ ​it​ ​was​ ​perfectly​ ​logical​ ​that​ ​Steve​ ​served​ ​as​ ​Chief​ ​Customer​ ​Officer,​ ​interacting with​ ​all​ ​internal​ ​groups​ ​to​ ​build​ ​a​ ​unified​ ​customer​ ​centric​ ​focus​ ​for​ ​the​ ​organization. From​ ​those​ ​who​ ​write​ ​code​ ​to​ ​customer​ ​support​ ​staff,​ ​Steve​ ​was​ ​charged​ ​with​ ​helping keep​ ​the​ ​organization​ ​focused​ ​on​ ​delivering​ ​a​ ​positive​ ​customer​ ​experience. Steve​ ​is​ ​currently​ ​working​ ​in​ ​the​ ​Healthcare​ ​Industry. Steve​ ​has​ ​four​ ​decades​ ​of​ ​information​ ​systems​ ​experience​ ​in​ ​all​ ​aspects​ ​of​ ​the technology​ ​industry.​ ​Steve​ ​has​ ​worked​ ​for​ ​market​ ​leaders​ ​including​ ​SmithKline Beecham,​ ​Sun​ ​Company,​ ​Sungard​ ​Data​ ​Systems,​ ​Wang​ ​Laboratories,​ ​and​ ​Digital Equipment​ ​Corporation.
